Face shape

The shape of your face is one of the most important factors to consider when selecting frames. Here’s a brief overview of three common face shapes and the styles that suit them:

Round faces usually have a curved hairline. The width of the face is the same as the length. If you have this face shape, you should avoid small frames or round lenses. Square or rectangular frames will make your face appear slimmer.

Square faces have sharp jawlines and a forehead that’s the same approximate width as the jaw. If this describes you, avoid square frames since they can make your face look boxy. Instead, choose round or oval frames to soften the angles of your face.
